Does the American media machine, in all its forms, influence
the way America thinks? What we
buy? The decisions we make? What each and every one of us believes? There
is absolutely no doubt that it does. And
if so, does it stop there?
What does it mean when a handful of persons, heading a handful of corporations, pull the purse strings on all of the media entities in America? Does it mean the “Free Press” is no longer free to report the facts? Does it mean these corporations can now dictate what is deemed news, and what is not? What impact does this have on the rights guaranteed every American in the 1st Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America?
What about when those same few persons, heading those same
few corporations, tightly pulling those purse strings, make huge political contributions
to both the Republican and Democratic parties? Do these few people now have the
power to shape public opinion or worse, to dictate political policy? Does the
concept of a government of the people, for the people, and by the people, go out
the window?
If these entities are funding both of the major political
parties, do you ever wonder if the party bickering is simply intended to
distract the masses? And if this is the
intent of the intense bi-partisan debate, what is it they really don’t want the
masses to see?

Is there any wonder why today, they want the ability and the authority to tax and censor the internet and monitor our communications?
Are we as a people so lethargic that we no longer care that our
government is functioning like a puppet?
Why aren’t Americans outraged?
Shouldn’t we be demanding the removal of lobbyist, corporate sponsorship
and unwarranted influences from our political processes?
